Top 10 Things I have learned as a mother by Mrs. Taylor

1.  I'm required to have an unlimited amount of patience with little people who have none.

2.  Children are unknowingly in a constant competition on who can say "Mom" the most in one day.

3.  I may as well make a bed up for "Milk Please" and "I forgot" because these kids aren't going anywhere!

4.  Children have real feelings about real things.  Just like adults do.

5.  I did all the laundry seven days ago.  I just did it again and hung up 14 shirts...for one kid.  (???)

6.  The "Don't Smile" game can always be won by using the words: fart, burp or barf.

7.  I didn't bring the kids to the park to play with them; I do that all day long at home. I brought them there for a break and it's ok to admit that.

8.  Throw away the yellow otter-pops.  The day will never come when someone will suddenly want one.

9.  I enjoy my 20 minute power naps on the couch during rest time more than anyone on the planet.

10.  Letting your kids have ice cream after breakfast gets you in the Coolest Mom Ever Club!

Bonus:  I work 12 hour shifts, three days a week, so I'm a stay at home mother four days a week.  The busiest day at work is nothing compared to being at home with the kids.  AND I LOVE IT!!!
