Here I am: grown by Mrs. Taylor
What was your plan when you were growing up? What did you dream of being when you were a kid? The first thing I can remember ever wanting to be was a hat maker. I had a book with a kitty in it who made hats for all her friends. In grade school, I signed all my papers, "Keep this paper. I'm going to be famous one day." After seeing the movie Big, I wanted to be a toy tester. I also remember wanting to become a talent scout and travel the world looking for bands to sign to a record label. I wanted to run a flower shop. I remember wishing I could sing really well so I could sing in an opera (I once had someone tell me I was tone deaf. Obviouly, they were.) In high school, a science teacher told me I would make a great Genetic Therapist. But when I graduated high school, I had no idea what I wanted to be. I pushed my unmotivated self to finish a degree in Early Childhood Education when I really should of gone to school to be a kindergarten teacher or a nurse. I ended being a wife and mother and I work as a Respiratory Therapist. I love it. And now I am working on becoming a blogger. ;)
